Economic Opportunity
Members of the Economic Opportunity Corps work with community-based organizations, schools, and government agencies to develop and implement programs that help low-income individuals and families achieve economic stability. This includes providing support for job readiness, career exploration, and financial management skills.
The goal of the Economic Opportunity Corps is to empower individuals to achieve economic independence and improve their overall quality
of life.
Healthy Futures
Members of the Healthy Futures Corps serve in a variety of settings, including schools and community centers, to provide health education and referrals. The focus is on opioid use prevention and promoting healthy behaviors, such as physical activity and healthy eating, to improve overall health outcomes. These members work to address the opioid epidemic by using the “This Is NOT About Drugs” program to improve the health and wellness of individuals in grades 6-12.
Veterans and Military Families
Members of the Veterans and Military Families Corps focus on providing support and resources to veterans, active-duty military members, and their families. This includes assisting with job placement, education, healthcare, and housing. The program also works to address issues such as mental health and substance abuse that may affect veterans and their families. The goal of the Veterans and Military Families Corps is to improve the quality of life for those who have served our country and their families.
